Milo's Launch Check (browser extension): privacy policy
Milo's Launch Check is a free browser extension made by Milo Kits (milokits.com).
What it does. When you click "Check this site", the extension sends plain GET requests to the site open in your current tab: the page itself, the JavaScript files that page references, their source maps, and a few well-known paths (/.env, /.env.local, /.env.production, /.git/HEAD, /.git/config). It reads the responses in the popup to show you the results.
What it collects. Nothing. The extension has no analytics, no tracking and no account. It doesn't send the address you check, the results or anything else to Milo Kits or to anyone else. Results exist only in the open popup and are gone when you close it. Nothing is stored on your device.
Cookies. Requests are sent without your cookies or login, so the check only sees what any visitor would see.
Permissions. The extension uses activeTab to read the address of the current tab when you open it. It asks for access to a site only when you click "Check this site", and removes that access again when the check is done.
Links. If you click the link to milokits.com, the normal milokits.com privacy policy applies to that website: https://milokits.com/privacy.html
Changes. If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date.
